DOF Subsea has over 15 years experience providing ROV and intervention services to the oil and gas industry worldwide.
Our next generation ROV fleet, designed and manufactured to our own specifications, accommodates and extensive range of operational requirements. Our ROVs have the capabitlity of working down to 4,000 m water depth with active heave compensated launch and recovery systems (LARS), deployed both inside hangar and through moon pool.
Observation Class
Our observation ROV’s features both pure observation and observation with payload capabilities.
This enables the systems to carry sensors such as CP, sonar’s transponders etc.
The ROV`s are equipped with either TMS or Cage systems which enables long excursions from stable work platforms. The systems are installed on different flexible LARS platforms suited for the dedicated Vessel/installation. The Vehicles comes with up to six simultaneous video channels transmitted through a fiber-optic telemetry system for sharp, high quality video inspections. The ROV is also equipped with additional power sources for attachment of manipulator and tools such as our high pressure jetting and cleaning skid used in platform inspections.
Light Work Class
Our Light Work Class ROV incorporates a fully electric system. It uses a 3000 Volt power transmission system from surface to ROV resulting in a small tether, main lift cable and launch/ recovery system. This transmission system makes it particularly suited for long tether excursions and deep live-boating operations.
The system is equipped with survey channels for survey work tasks and with additional power sources to allow the use of hydraulic power unit for running tools and work skids for support intervention tasks.
The ROV is equipped with either TMS or a Cage system which enables long excursions from stable work platforms.
The systems are installed on different flexible LARS platforms suited for the dedicated Vessel/installation.
Work Class
The Work Class ROV systems are capable of up to 200hp is designed for the toughest deepwater tasks at depths from splash zone and down to 4000m. The WROV’s delivers the ultimate in performance from intervention, heavy construction support to advanced survey and seabed mapping projects. The ROV’s are equipped with either TMS or a Cage system which enables long excursions from stable work platforms. The systems are installed on different flexible LARS platforms suited for the dedicated Vessel/installation, most systems features Heave compensated winches.
