ROV

Remotely operated underwater vehicles (ROVs) is the common accepted name for tethered underwater robots in the offshore industry. ROVs are remotely controlled robotic submarines which are highly maneuverable and versatile. It is remotely controlled by a person onboard a CSV or DSV vessel. They are used to solve tasks such as subsea survey, IRM, construction support and subsea engineering.
